can you un-fit clothing item?

I have a standard clothing item I fitted to V4 but I want to "un-fit" it from her without it moving at all so I can just move it away from the spot it was when it was fitted to her. Can this be done somehow? is there an "un-fit" option to clothing where it isn't fitted to them anymore and you can just move it away from its previous fitted positon on her? ty.

    At the top of the DAZ Studio app near the left hand side are two big Arrow icons - one going up and to the left for undo last operation and one pointing up and to the right for redo last undone operation. Also Ctontrol-Z is the keyboard shortcut for undo the last operation.

    Undo will revert the item to its default shape, so that's no good. Not sure how to keep the same shape. You could try copying the pose as a first step. Next, you'd need to copy the morphs. So maybe save the pose and morphs of the figure as presets and apply them to the clothing item after unfitting it.

    Or you can right click on the item and hit fit to then choose none.Also make sure you unparent

    OK, I misunderstood what you said, sorry. After you pose the model, save the pose and textures loaded and such as presets and then cloth the model, then just unparent the clothing if parented and delete the model & the hair. Or what Ice Dragon or AlienRenders says as well.
