"The Harbour Master's House"
I rendered this in Daz 4.9 using Iray then passed it through Akvis Sketch.
...interesting use of hte Regency Cottage.
Will - I had to look up Invader Zim as that wasn't something my boys ever watched. It looks like, from what Wikipedia says, my boys just missed seeing it. My middle son says he's heard of it, but has never seen it. I guess I can kind of see you having this weird desire to have a house with chicken legs.
Well, more seriously, it's Russian folklore of a witch named Baba Yaga. Who flies around in a mortar and pestle (??) and has a walking cottage with chicken legs (???). Folklore is weird.
...one of the movements of Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition is based on a painting of the legend.
Ooh, Baba Yaba, I've heard that. I don't remember chicken legs in there, but I do remember hearing about the Russian witch!!! That fable is epic!
Folks were grumping a little about how the Aiko line lost it's old school anime style. But hey, GenX2 and legacy morph packs to the rescue... here's G3F with Aiko 4 (I THINK I got the morph as a G2F legacy thing).
With a very appropriate G3F outfit, I think. (I only morphed the head, because the body ended up very... booby with Aiko 4 body)
By the way, in my Marie render up above, I wonder if anyone noticed her top -- I struggled with how distorted bras and tops are with autofit, so I ended up fitting it 'by hand.' That preserved the ring, among other things.
MAN that was a PITA.
Hrm. Maybe that was a few pages back... this one: http://willbear.deviantart.com/art/WTZ-Marie-619382076
I don't remember if I have that bikini. Yeah, things like that don't fit very well with Autofit. Sometimes even Fit Control can't quite help it either. In those cases, I usually end up unfitting and taking the whole thing into Hexagon and trying to fit things there, but every once in awhile I come across an outfit that just doesn't want to work no matter what I do in Hexagon and then cross it back over the bridge with a morph that just doesn't work. I'm trying to lean how to do those things in Blender with Sickleyield's tutorials, but it isn't easy getting a handle on Blender. You did a good job on getting it to look decent, though.
It's actually a V4 item, I think, and it had a bunch of morphs attached to it. So that helped. Then a little collision.
The problem I usually run into is getting straps that look like STRAPS, rather than noodles limply flopping about her shoulders.
Inspired to revisit stuff.

Now, I could have shot for a more pale/pink skin like the original had. Mmm.
My latest Iray render. I'm actually kind of liking Kimo 7's skin. I have to do practically nothing to it to make it look good in Iray. I wish other skins were so well done. They don't credit the texture artist for Kimo so I have no idea who did the great skin work. The character is one of my Randomizer experiments to see how many different Hawaiian characters I could create the the very FEW morphs I have for G3M. I think I should have added Vascularity in the mix. I'll have to remember that for next time. This is Keoki which is apparently the Hawaiian equivalent for George, but I didn't know that until after I decided I liked the name.
..Nice, I like.
Thanks. I think I'm going to have to do him up in a proper render with at full background and stuff.
...he needs an Aloha Shirt.
Could probably use a dynamic shirt or fitting a shirt by hand to get it to 'hang'
I knew I should have gotten those Hawaiin print textures that were out not long ago! I think I can manage to doing something dynamic, but I'm not all that sure that Keoki should be hangin' anywhere! :)
It's those f*beep*ing shoulders that are always a killer to fit, male or female. Ugh.
Yeah, even on regular clothes. Why do you think he's in a tank top? :)
Eyeless request got me thinking.
Took a small sphere, made it dynamic, expanded it, draped around his head. (Scaled up items try to return to original size when draped)
Then used my WTZ skin shader and bam.
That's freaky cool. You come up with the weirdest stuff, Will!
When I was a child I wanted to make MONSTERS.
When I got older I discovered genetics was boring (I never did anything in genetics, just cast about for something to do and got disinterested before pursuing science).
Now I'm back to monsters. ;)
Well that's certainly the stuff of nightmares. O_o
Maybe this would be better? Ha ha ha.
(testing out GenX2 with Genesis 3 morphs. ¡Viva Rawart!)
This was an experiment- G3F with one of Lillith 6's corset, gloves, panties and leggings. Can't remember from which set. She's clothed completely!
This is technically nude (she has no nipples and isn't quite human, but... I guess?), so I'll just link: http://willbear.deviantart.com/art/Seafolk-620068011
Anemone, lorelei, kelpie hair. Woo.
And epic godray
I've always resisted making portraits but I guess the portrait people have won me over... for a while. This is a mash of G3F with Danae's London textures using Legacy UVs for Genesis 3 V4. Very hard to tweak the texture modifications for the geografts. And the bumps and speculars don't transfer properly. Had to do each one manually. And there was no displacement for the scarf, so I had to make one. And......of cause I couldn't get the eye brows to match the hair... sigh.... pretend you don't notice.
(Image will enlarge if you click it)
...I rarely do portraits unless it is to proof a character concept.
Interesting in that I see a number of images that really don't look much better than 3DL.
I suppose that I should post a few of my latest things here. Crossposting from other threads.
First, we begin with ALIENS! (These are Star Wars tabletop characters that I rendered for friends)
And then we have the one I'm really proud of, my SW character's darksider love interest. This one involved taking a scar from one character texture, putting it on another and manipulating it to fit the DM's image of the character. I was afraid of the normal maps at first, but everyone (including me!) is really, really happy with the way he turned out!

And then this one I did for the Aiko thread, and it's kind of cheesecake-y. Please forgive me.
