Did you change the shaders to Iray? Did you look at the log files? Maybe that gives a clue as to what happened.

Usually, when I have a black screen in Iray, I have forgotten to:

    1. Use Iray lights or turn on Photometric if I'm going from 3Delight (yeah, I know, I'm not in there often) in the lights tab with the light selected

    2. use the correct Dome/Scene/whatever setting and I'm only using a distant light, but accidentally forgotten to delete a 3Delight skydome if it came with a set.

There was one other situation when this has happened, but I've forgotten what type of situation that is as it hasn't happened in awhile.

I've been gettting this with one scene I've set up. It rendered fine then I did something and now can't get it to render anything but the blank screen, other scenes are fine just this one, and sorry I haven't figureed out what the problem is. When I've had this happen before I've just had to alter the camera angle slightly and the image rendered fine but thats not working this time.

Check the lighting and environment settings (in the Render Settings).

Hi thanks everyone for your help I will go through and check all this and let you know -I think it might be something to do with camera angle as Scorpio says, Thanks for all your help!
