    What looks like cat food that smells like cat food but people keep in bowls on their counters?

     

     

    Edit right now I am at someone's house and their bowl of trail mix looks just like cat food.

    ...interesting seeing the contrast between here and my old hometown of Milwaukee WI.

    The pics attached below are from live weather cams that I downloaded today.  The view from the one in Milwaukee (the second one) is about how it looked here two months ago. Meanwhile the Portland camera (actually on the outskirts as the only other cameras in the area here are DOT ones which are really low quality) shows a scene that looks more like mid summer.

    ...strangely it was in the 80s there today...for one day then back down into the 50s for tomorrow. Looks like they'll be lucky if they have leaves leaves on the trees by June.

    We've had about a week an a half of days already where it's been above 80º (89º being the warmest so far) with more on the way tomorrow and next week

    Back in the 70s and 80s, Eric Sykes -- a well known comedian & actor in this part of the world -- wore glasses even though he had 20/20 vision. They were fitted with clear glass, and actually contained his hearing aids. He literally couldn't hear without his glasses.

    That's not too bad, at least presumably your brain is involved somehow.  I've known people who didn't think with their brains and would let some other part of their anatomy call the shots.
