    Put in a ticket, they'll refund the money (they might even be doing it automatically for everyone who paid for it).

    In general you ARE allowed to return and buy again if an item goes on a better sale within 30 days.  It's only some of the special punchcard sales which don't allow returns.

    No, AFAIK, but I haven't tried it to see if it would allow you to use store credit for the non-GC portion.

    Um, NO. Unless it's stated that previous purchasing of the product will not be considered.  I've gotten credited many times with the difference in price. I contacted CS within minutes of this product going free and within hours they issued the credit.
