Well, with MakeHuman, at least you don't have to worry about anything you use the mesh for/with/ or on... I never know what any of the shapes and models that come with some of the modeling programs allow... I just assume they are to look at and study, but with MH, it states it's alright to mess with it.
The MakeHuman software isn't that great for modifying the meshes so I'll start it out there, then move it to hexagon then move it to 3DCoat. I prefer the body mesh from the A7 version and the hands from the v1 version. I made a version of the A7 mesh that's in a Genesis pose which is handy because then the figures I make will be more or less compatible with Genesis poses and animations. It's very handy having a base mesh that you're free to use however you want.
I... I'm making you a Chibi. B.... but it's not because I like you or anything.... BAKA!
Tsundere is best dere. Now with clothing goodness.
Working on some more stuff for my Chibi Lolo Hai Figure.
More work on the Sukumizu outfit.
Some of you guys need to get a back bone and have a crack at selling at DAZ, you certainly have the talent. Great stuff !
I suffer from chrometophpbia so it won't be be. I just give my stuff away for free on ShareCG.
Making a Race Queen outfit for my Lolo figure.
And you deserve thanks for doing that with such great stuff! So thanks!
My pleasure. Share the wealth I always say.
It's a sword. Of the slashy, stabby, men-in-metal-wielding variety. I thought I'd share it as it's one of the assets I've started making for a personal project and it's a little more interesting than the crates, jugs, barrels, or walls I've typically been working on.
Chrometophobia... The fear of loose change.
Tight change too.
Working on more clothes for the Lolo figure.
More clothes and hair in the works.
Finished all the new Lolo outfits. I should have them up on ShareCG sometime tomorrow.
I seem to be inspired lately. Working on a seifuku for the Lolo figure.
Just realized I can't have a seifuku without a randoseru.
Hmmmm.... I think the outfit needs new hair too.
Okay it need a hat. Actually I don't know if it really needed a hat or if I just keep adding things to this model so I can put off making texture maps for it. The downside is now I have more assets I need to make texturemaps for.
On a roll lately.
Making a coveralls outfit for Lolo.
Taking a break from my overalls to make some geographed eyes in case some people don't want to use a painted face texture.
Eyes are finished. Surprisingly expressive. I still think I prefer hand painted faces on a figure so stylized but the geometry eyes are easier to work with. Was a bit of a challenge getting the eyes to move properly given how stylized the head is.
I think I'll work on a geographed mouth next.
The mouth is turning out to be more problematic than I expected. Since I designed the figure with hand painted facial textures in mind I didn't leave myself a lot of geometry for adding geographs. Luckily toon anatomy is pretty forgiving. Got a lot of work left to do on this mouth but the eyes are pretty much finished. When I get the mouth done I'll put them both up on ShareCG together.
Making a Low Poly Super Deformed Chibi figure now and I can't decide which one looks better. Any opinions?
Went with the fatter one. It just seemed cuter.
Making a Majorette outfit now.
Now to do some boots and a staff and it will be all done.
And all the modelling is done. Now for the texture maps (aka my least favourite part).
