as for me, I just bought animate 2 plug in with 50 % discount.
I thought if daz has secret sales often, and many user know the rule,,, so I frasrtated first time.

I do not know some lucky user get items with special prices, but it is good if just happend without intention^^

and I feel, if the price is true, I actually more and more items which may not use,,

so first I try and get used to the animate 2 only now.

I hope daz studio have more power about animation and pose everytime,,

(I think you never disapointed if you buy animate 2, because, I checked go-figure tutorial video and
I understand there are so many things (which you can not do) without animate 2 product ver.

before I tryed these video, and serch manial about animate plus ,but manycase I must need animate 2 plug-in.

I do not think it can do everythings. but if you make animation by daz studio4.5,
you must need the plug in now (can you show other good tool for ds 4.5?)

"secret sales" lol ... no, not exactly. Store is a little wonky at times mind you, good term :-)

    @ all
The store is, well, let's just say we're not all very used to how to find things in here.
Just tripped over these 2 items while looking for something else and have to find them the normal way via the landing pages.
At time of posting these 2 items are 65% off.
CHECK the cart carefully to be sure that's the price showing up. If not, remove item, refresh page, try again. When 1 item says right price, go to checkout and buy it. Then go get the other one if you want them both.

These are 2 clothing items for V4
    http://www.daz3d.com/shop/elaia-dress
    http://www.daz3d.com/shop/evening-gown2-v4

    ...................................

another good tool but it is NOT on sale right now is the Dynamic Clothing Control: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/dynamic-clothing-control

There are always sales going on and so if one is not in a hurry for an item, we patiently wait for sales ;-)

@ kitakoredaz yes you'll find that AniMate2 is very useful. There are several good videos on youtube by the company that show how to use the features. We can edit the motions, add to the motions, save them too! Can also be used to grab single poses. There is also a tutorial/manual page over at GoFigure's website.

    @ all
I haven't been receiving any newsletters [although I'm supposedly subscribed] so I don't know how or if these extra sales are being promoted ... however it seems to me that something else was 75% last week about the same time. So if you happen to get up in the middle of night for some reason, check the pages ... list by prices but skip over all the normal inexpensive ones to find the other sale items. And when you find something neat, feel free to post a "HU - ...." in the Commons so we can all benefit.
If the price is really great ... 'buy first, question later' ... remember that even sale items can be returned if really not required, etc. However, now I don't know how or if this is holding with the new store. But, it used to be that one could NOT buy an item TWICE at the same price. So like if an item is 99 cents ... might as well keep it ;-) However if it's much more than that, don't be shy. It's your money.
Since the store's purchasing feature isn't keeping track of previous purchases, I don't see how this old policy can be maintained either, but just in case, I mention it for the new comers.

Hey,, please tell me what is best choice for me^^: There are no Aniblocks for Genesis. The ones for V4 and M4 should work, but the feet need to be fixed. I am not sure how you do that, but someone is bound to know. Maybe you need to use the foot fix script first?

Best place to ask questions is the Animation forum I think.

aniBlocks target a specific character. Using an offset on Genesis when using aniBlocks that target V4 or M4 fixes the duck walking(the most noticeable problem). Here is one that is decent., just put it in like show in the image. - http://gofigure3d.com/Amm/Genesis-Offset.zip

Where do I put the offset .gsa file?

it has to be in a folder called aniBlocks. aniBlocks must exist as a sibling folder to your Runtime folder. you can also put the .gfa file in any subfolder under the aniBlocks folder.

Sorry about the typo, it is an offset.gfa file.

I am using Daz 4 on a Mac running 10.6 on and intel duocore 2 with 4 gigs of ram.

This where I found my AniBlocks folder. Should it be somewhere else?

Looks like there are a few posts with folk writing inside of other people's quotes. The actual reply is not to be inside any set of [.quote] ... [./quote] boxes.

    Foot fix.

If you have shoes on your Genesis figure here's a workaround without having to purchase animate2.

You can't bend the shoe parent node but open it up and down the hierarchy in the scene tab you can bend the foot, toes and big toe sub-nodes of the shoe object (about 20, 60, 60 degrees respectively I think and you have to do all 3). This will shift it from the foot position of the genesis figure but retain the animation. The Genesis feet will poke through so select those and click the eye icon to make them invisible.

There are also some free 'fit Genesis feet to V4' type morphs available however, when one gets the chance, if one has any intentions of doing animations, Animate2 is rather a must have type item. Worth every penny. The subtracks enable more than one action per figure at the same time.

And here are a few of the few animation helps still available:
