To not miss them I suggest to subscribe to the "Flash Sale alerts" Thread here in the Forum

This would be really wonderful if only the subsriptions actually notified me properly. I have 51 notications showing up when I click my side bar on the forum. How many emails did I receive? A grand total of 7 emails going back a full week. 51 vs 7. Hmm. So I am getting 13.7% of the notifications I should be. That doesn't seem like a very good percentage to me.

Do all those notified threads have the little star at the top highlighted orange? Look at the top of this page, just above the page counter. If the star is hollow white, you don't get e-mails. If it's orange, you should get e-mails if you have that turned on in Notification Preferences.

It's been a while since I last poked at those settings, but I think the default is to have everything switched off — you must actively go into Notification Preferences and switch things on.

20% extra on stonemason is not working.

but the 20% extra on the Mad Artises does work

  • RenomistaRenomista Posts: 921

    Stonemason Rebate still not working

  • Peter FulfordPeter Fulford Posts: 1,325

It says 20% off "featured" items from Stonemason, so maybe we have to try each one to find out which.

  • KeryaKerya Posts: 10,943

You have to add TWO of TODAYS newly mad items to get the additional 20% off ...

Yes, and that's working on the mad artists' catalogues, but not Stonemason (based on a random sampling).

  • RenomistaRenomista Posts: 921

Correct! i have 4 newly mads in the cart. -20% on Mad Artists (e.g. Polish or Khory) works, but not on Stonemason Products.

  • Peter FulfordPeter Fulford Posts: 1,325

Stonemason items are now including the extra 20% off.

  • Oso3DOso3D Posts: 15,085

    Stonemason extra discount??!?!

Well, there goes the rest of my MAY budget. mutter

  • Peter FulfordPeter Fulford Posts: 1,325

It works out to 64% off. Stonemason (and today's mad artists) may occasionally come up in a 65% off flash sale, but this is very close.

  • Oso3DOso3D Posts: 15,085

Thankfully, not everything in Newly Mad was Genesis 3, otherwise I'm not sure it would have been worth it.

  • Peter FulfordPeter Fulford Posts: 1,325

Aye, you have to actually want the qualifying items (unless they're mega cheap) for these offers to be worth it.

Somebody mentioned http://www.daz3d.com/fugitive-pro-for-genesis-2 a few posts back, I just noticed the RDNA product page lists Poser 7 and V4 support but the one here doesn't. So did they strip all the Poser stuff out when it moved over here or have I got the wrong version? frown

    Also working now here

With the The Girl Pro Rebate it is even around 68 % that really good

I got the Grebels bundle the village courtyard bundle and the NWX section 18 for 47 Bucks :-)

According to the Dim Filelist it only contains Genesis2 Morphs and only duf files

Two Comment on Two Days Linup:

    1) Could we please Get John Crow for G3M? Please?

    2) Why is the Green Canyon 50% more expensive then the Nature Canyon. Don't really understand the logic here?

Possible Answer to question 2    It appears To contain more content.  It has the Canyon mesh and the greenery meshes.

Now I see it. This is noted very hidden (+plants) and it is unclear if the Plants are Props of their own or just part of the main Props. In the First case I would think 50% more is perfectly ok, in the second not so much...

Yes, the little star is highlighted at the top of the thread. Yes, the forum sidebar shows the threads I am subbing. If I didn't have notifications by email checked, then I wouldn't get any email notifications at all. Like I said, I had a few emails. I am subbed to this thread, and I only get notified once in a blue moon of any posts to it. It simply doesn't work.

Disclaimer: I don't have either product, but I do have several of the PA's earlier ones.

If you look at the ReadMe file lists, the red Canyon has 11 .obj/.dsf files (Poser and DS versions respectively) whereas the Green Canyon has 28. They apparently can't be independently loaded, but once loaded I guess you could move them around and/or save them out as individual props. I think most of Andrey's products use a lot of instancing, which is why they need to be (I guess) independently modelled.

    (Edit for spelling and clarification)

Some forum software will only send new notifications if you have viewed the thread since the last one for that thread was sent. One forum that I monitor actually has the thread notification email specifically state that.

This forum does that, but it's still broken. I stopped getting notifications for a week or so last week for no reason and it wasn't until after I'd made a few posts that it suddenly started up again. I'd get a notification for a post, view it, then someone else would post and I'd get nothing, then suddenly it was fine again.

  • I'm getting a bit tired of March Madness.  I'm not willing to buy much at 50-55%, and everything that's going to get above that (mostly stacking with Daz Originals) I've either gotten through the sale or am only interested in at about 80% off (I don't really need more tack for my horse, but at that price I'd take it).  Can we go back to normal year now?

Glad you've got what you want out of the sale, thistledownsname, but others may still be enjoying the benefits. I don't see how you are advantaged by prices going back to only 30% off new or full for back catalogue, other than perhaps a familiar storefront.

Speculating, I'd say this coming week is the last. So maybe wishes do come true after all. ;-)

That doesn't make much sense, either, because I have at times received multiple emails for the same thread (this one being one of them) before I looked at it again.

John Crow for G3M is something I definitely would like to achieve. At the current time, I unfortunately do not have the abilities, but maybe in the future that will change :)

Perhaps it's just an issue where the emails mysteriously vanished, never to be seen again.

Oh, of course the ice cream van would turn up with the ice cream parlour. Cool stuff.
