Really daz? Its almost a third of the way through APRIL!!! Enough March Madness already! March is the third month of the year, not the second ... and not the forth. It started on the thirty-first and is showing no real signs of ending .... I get the whole idea that sales drive additional income ... but at least quit being lazy and change the name of the event.

They extend it so people can have more than one paycheck. I thought it was thoughtful of them to release the new figure AFTER March and include it in getting MM pricing. People complain about good things coming at the end of the sale, they complain if they extend the sale, they just can't win.

I actually dont care what they call it.

They can call it Christmas Shopping Sale and have it March to September if they like.

I care about good offers, great products and working sale mechanics.

I understand that Novica, and I am all for giving people a chance to benifet from the sale.  I am just saying change the name of the sale ... call it a spring fling .... call it an aftermath sale.

I demand a refund on the products wrongly described as being in some way related to the arbitrary period known as March. Such blatant misselling!

I will, of course, delete the items from my hard drives, along with any image made with them. Oh yes (nods).

I actually like the sound of that- Spring Fling!  (Not sure, they may have done that before. I've only been around 3 years...)

LOL, I typed in Daz Spring Sale in google and found:

    Spring Cleaning Sale

    Spring Break Sale

And a Spring Has Sprung promo code last April.

Daz is a detergent or laundry cleaning thing isn't it? That might explain the first one.

Personally I don't care what it's called but I wish they'd give more than one day notice before having massive bundle sales etc.

I realize that this may sound trivial and stupid to some, but to me continuing to call this sale march madness is akin to calling Tuesday Monday because the task you started on Monday isn't complete. You have your logic, I have mine. I am sure you have foilbles that iritate you.

Those mini-me avatar things drive me crazy, but for some reason my internet campaign against them never got traction.

It's like one of those summit mettings where they have to reach agreement by 11:59 so they stop the clocks and take their watches off. The Daz calendars won't be changed until no-on has any mon...until eveyone has had a chance to take advantage of the wonderful offers.

Yes I was a aware of that and I find it just as stupid as this. Hell why don't we just have winter harvest in the middle of the summer?

People talk about the halcyon days of summer, but the original halcyon days were set around the winter solstice.

Not much, if anything, in March Madness for me today. Unless there's a rash of flash sales, or something, I'll be having a night off. Maybe even use some of this new stuff and learn the program, lol.

There'll probably be one before the end of March (there usually is and we had the "mid" catchup at the end of March.)

I assume you mean to say "Before the end of April", unless shoppers are meant to travel back in time to take advantage of the catchup.

I  read all the fine print of the pc+ membership, and I agree, Peter Fulford, it only pays for itself if you buy stuff you would have bought anyway, but I thought I try anyway since I have been buying lots of stuff in a short amount of time, and if I can make

some savings I need to do that. I had some difficulties to choose between annual and quarterly, it's cheeper per month if I choose annual but then it's for a whole year since there's no refunds. I ended up choosing quarterly so I can see how much I end up saving,

if  I am happy with that I will get an annual membership after that.

    Pro Tip:

Disable The Auto renewal in the PC+  Pane in the Account Settings.

Then keep your eyes open for PC+ Membership sales, they happen regulary (every 2-3 Month)

I got a Annual Membership for 49 $ end of Feb.

To not miss them I suggest to subscribe to the "Flash Sale alerts" Thread here in the Forum.

Ah and another Tip: Don go crazy on buying the PC+ Items initially. They are cheap but still add up fast. And they will still be there next week or next month. It is grat to get a decent content base of some scenes, hairs etc and i would do so but in the and still only buy what you really use now!

(I should more often follow this rule myself ;-) )

Thanks for the advice smiley,  I couldn't see anything about auto renewal in the pc+ pane, but under billing info there's a box named Recurring, is that it? I unchecked that. It allready says there that the next billing date is July 07, 2016,  there doesn't seem to be anyway to

uncheck that, maybye if I cancel my subscribtion now, since there are no refunds I remain a member with all benefits until the end of my subscribtionperiod, right?

Sorry for all the questions blush ,  I just don't want to miss out on a  annual membership sale.

About the pc+sale, at first the prices wasn't reset after I joined, but when I looked later, WOW, now that's a sale laugh, I will try not to go crazy smiley, as you said I can always buy them next month or so.

Auto-renew and recurring are the same thing.

If you cancel now your current membership will last until the time period runs out - but just not having recurring checked is enough (if you use PayPal you need to cancel it on the PayPal site too, see here.)

Also if you buy an annual subscription while you have your current one still active, the time will add onto the end so you don't need to worry about it cutting out existing membership time (I did it last year.)

Although the PC+ item prices are cheap to pretty cheap anyways, it still pays to wait until they are included in a sale (especially a stacking sale) - if you don't need them immediately. 50 cents is better than $1.99, etc. Add items to your wishlist and watch them. You'll soon learn to spot when they're on sale. It's great fun, like a cross between hunting and looting - except that it's safe, legal and fair trade (assuming offers are genuine and not errors). Enjoy!

Tell that to Mother Nature! March is supposed to be in like a lamb, out like a lion, but we had no snow on the ground at the end of March and then got 6-8in the first weekend of April, and it's been on and off snowing this week. I can't fault DAZ for contining March Madness into April when Mother Nature herself is confused. cheeky Also, the discounts are really sweet. laugh

  • lx, Thanks for your reply, I will cancel my membership and uncheck recurring just to be safe even it's not necessary, it's great to know also that I can buy an annual membeship when there's a sale even if my membership hasn't ended, I did wonder about that.

Peter Fulford,Thanks for the advice,  I will enjoy my wishlist hunting-expeditions laugh

I got my last annual membership for around $25, which is around the same price as a single quarterly membership. That was a 65% discount, and these come up very rarely, but 50% off annual, or more typically 30% off are much more common. Either way it is an amazing deal for what you get. Even if you buy nothing, you still get to grab 64 freebies a year (weekly and monthly ones), plus another 20 or so freebies during the PC+ sale.
