http://www.daz3d.com/the-unicorn-youth The product pages lately are so confusing. This one says it includes the main unicorn, and the main unicorn doesn't really link to what its addons are. I have no idea which bits are essential, which bits are addons, which bits are PA additions, etc. (Star's were completely broken like this too. The pirate outfit bundle said it included every one of her hairs.)
Also the youth and baby aren't part of the sale but almost everything else is? So confusing.

You beat me to it, I was looking at this but was also confused about the Youth pack, also should Giselle 6 & her Pro Bundle be in the sale catergory, or should those slots actually be for the Unicorn Youth & Baby which do not seem to be included (fixed 30% discount only), but their add-on pack are?
Also, the e-mail says over 70 items, the MM page 68 (including the two interlopers mentioned above).
I know it's early over in DAZ land but can somebody check this out if they can.

Edit, it appears that the Hoof Shackles for the Unicorn by Evilinnocence are also not included in the sale category whilst the baby & youth vesion are.
I can't even find the unicorn stuff in my smart content ready to download, even tho the product pages show i own it (i got a lot from RDNA). Sometimes I think a lot of the RDNA pages just get thrown together and not checked at all.

So...I'm just going to say this. One of the reasons I didn't shop at RuntimeDNA very much is this kind of crud. Not the unicorn, it's *gorgeous*, but stuff like...three different winter cloaks for the unicorn, three different spring cloaks, dozens of bits-and-bobs, none of them clearly defined as what's needed for what.
On RDNA sometimes there'd be a top and bottom, as separate pieces, and then seperate versions for each of three different characters. Hell, once there was a bottom, a shirt, and a baseball cap, and they turned it into 9+ different products, IIRC. It's kinda nuts. :(
I'd rather not see that in this store. I can't really buy into the Unicorn, because I have no idea what all I'd need to make a decent render with it; it's too damn confusing. Why isn't FURious Tigers a single item with morphs for each of the items? Same for the shackles, the cloaks, etc... I don't get why morphs won't work here; is this something that I've been spoiled on by Genesis' massive compatibility between related characters?
I end up walking away, unfortunately.

Lovely, if a bit ethereal, unicorn though... I hope it works out well, just...maybe not for the folks who break stuff up that should be kept together. :(

I've sent in inquiries. I did try putting in the Unicorn Youth in my cart and do not see additional discounts.
I was hoping to get the Unicorn Baby but that isn't discounting correctly either. Think I'll wait a bit.
The Unicorn, the Unicorn Youth and the Baby are 3 different figures, not morphs of each other.
Which is why you get "clothes" for each of the figures. Of course you can buy one and try to fit it to the others (like you can buy Victoria4 clothes and try to fit them to Genesis3) ... or you can buy these really cheap pieces ... well, piecemeal. *grin* FURious is LAMH hair and that only works with the figure it was created for.
One nice thing: the Unicorn and Unicorn Youth are sharing the same uvmapping - the Baby is too different, so it has it's own mapping (remember the different UVmaps for different characters for Genesis or Genesis2).

What you really need? Well - the Unicorn, the Youth or the Baby - the Bits and Bobs are including all pieces for all three figures.
Else - textures are either for the Unicorn and Youth - or the Baby.
Take care like with STAR! items - some may be Poser only, some DS only and some both.
The Unicorn, Youth and Baby are working in both. Some of the poses and some of the textures are one or the other and some are both.
Either wait for the store to settle to rely on the "Compatible Software:DAZ Studio 4.9, Poser" or look at the what's included for the filetypes.
At the times, as all the cloaks, bits and bobs are released at RDNA, they had the same status a PC items here and cost around 2.50$ for each product. Unfortunetely they are here not PC items and have higher prices. Maybe we should thank the RDNA crew for this great deal.(ironic)

About FURious tigers, it's LAMH fur, it was created for each shape individually, and it will follow the morphs- just make sure you morph and pose the Unicorn figures and apply the fur very last. it was made before iray but can still be used in Iray if you export the fur as fibermesh. Why would I put all the FURious hair in one set? Well, some people were saying they only had the Unicorn or only wanted the cute little baby so I split it up and made it easier, and they were real deals so very low price (like now!) And they don't have the same exact fur, as i said, each was set up for each- i did the work for each one. And the sets are pretty close to what the cost was at RDNA and even better if you're getting the March madness items. :) RDNA PA didn't have any input in the merger but I am personally happy here. It's a big change but I'm happy to see more toons and content here, and i am VERY glad that the store didn't just disappear or someething as things have in the past.... I think it was one of the best possible outcomes. And now people here who maybe didn't hang out at RDNA get to see all the cute and cool and sometime creepy stuff here, too. :D :D :D
My Star character DD Shimmer comes with poser and DS 4 mats. My my two toon material shaders for sparkly hair have one version for poser and one for DS. And the textures that Daio and I worked on- they all have poser and DS materials for 3delight (Iray wasn't out then). I know we worked hard to make everything compatible for both. I also have had no problem using the poser poses on the Daz version of Unicorn (on any of them). If they transferred correctly every item should have on it's page what materials it has and if it works in poser or daz or both. :)

I was getting the impression that it would all have made more sense as a PC+ type set (also I wish there were better maps for combining some of the bigger PC+ sets here.)

So the base model is not in related mad as I am only seeing 31% off The Unicorn Baby so it is 16.09, since I dont really need it , just thought it was cute and a bargain to boot I won't be getting any right now, Maybe wishlist it unless it is an error and shows up in related mad along with addons later today
I am in the same confused camp. I started to put the Unicorn items in my cart, then Wishlisted them all until I can figure out what is going on.
Fairytale Unicorn Chapter 2 The Bundle says that The Unicorn is required. So I put that in my cart as well.
Inside the bundle is Fairytale Unicorn Chapter 2 for DAZ Studio which says The Unicorn: Youth is required. But the The Unicorn: Youth is a bundle that includes The Unicorn.
Also inside the Fairytale Unicorn Chapter 2 for DAZ Studio bundle is the Fairytale Unicorn Baby Chapter 2 for DAZ Studio which requires The Unicorn: Baby. The Unicorn: Baby requires the The Unicorn: Youth (see above).
The last item inside the Fairytale Unicorn Chapter 2 for DAZ Studio bundle is the Fairytale Bits and Bobs for the Unicorn Family Chapter 2 for DAZ Studio which require The Unicorn: Youth (already covered) and The Unicorn: Bits and Bobs. The Unicorn: Bits and Bobs requires The Unicorn (inside The Unicorn: Youth bundle), The Unicorn: Youth, and The Unicorn: Baby.
So please correct me if I am wrong...
If I purchase the Fairytale Unicorn Chapter 2 The Bundle, I should also purchase The Unicorn: Youth and The Unicorn: Baby, yes?

I threw pretty much every Unicorn product that was daz-specific or software-neutral into my cart then started weeding out stuff I liked but didn't feel as strongly about. I'm down to just the base unicorn figure, the tiger/leopard/palomino textures for the grownup unicorn, one set of poses by Daio the equine expert, and the LAMH tiger product for grownup unicorn. (Brilliant idea, btw, I hope it sells well enough to justify LAMH leopards for the unicorn family).
I'd cast covetous eyes on the unicorn when she was at RDNA, but never quite got around to buying so I'm happy to get another chance just as my self-imposed moratorium on buying Daz/Poser stuff ends.
All RDNA Real Deals were $2.50 for about 2-3 months when introduced and $5 afterwards (until the Real Deal Sales, when they went back to being $2.50) So while the intro price is higher, they're still the same $5 base price as they were at RDNA.

It seems that they also fixed the prices for the baby unicorn and the youth unicorn; the discounts apply properly now.

Want to get some unicorn stuff but the extra 50% discount still doesn't work with mad artist catalogs like it should. Given that most of the day has passed and it hasn't been fixed, that it'll likely not be fixed before the sale is replaced by the next days sale

You're not the only one, Ix. No email notifications at all when I checked my inbox this morning - I seem to have suddenly lost the email ebots for every single thread I'm following.
Ok, is there anyone who is using Connect to download products? Can you see the unicorn products you have purchased (or are already in your account from purchasing them at RDNA) in Smart Content for downloading via Connect at all? None of the 6 products showing as "purchased" for me are there at all. Tried searching by name as well as other attempts, and there's nothing there.
And according to the other thread, there are errors when downloading with DIM too. Don't know if that's been fixed.
Well - my Unicorn items bought at RDNA don't even show as purchased ...
I'm getting a "Install failed" every time I try to use the DIM for the Wings for Unicorn, which says it is for DS.
That will probably take a day or two. If not, drop customer support a note. I had a problem with my Mortem Vetus items, but they were added by CS.
Contact support ... The Compatible Software says DAZ Studio 4.9, Poser - the What's Included and Features says Wings for Unicorn: (.CR2 and .OBJ) and the Notes this product includes 1 Poser Core Installer ...
I am patient - no problem. It's just interesting that some people see it as bought, others don't, some see it in DIM, others don't ... March MADNESS ... *Grin*

The downlaod and install seems to be fixed. However .... most (all?) of the products from Lady Littlefox are showing up in DIM with an extraneous leading 'My Library' for install location, so get installed into a nested directory.
I have just moved contents from nested directory one level up and now it loads properly.
