    I already have Unshaven 2. I bought it the day it was released and it's still one of my favorite products. A great investment at 30% off... a real steal at 70%! I highly recommend Unshaven 2. I've had reasonable success fitting it to G3M, too.

    I was wondering about that, considering the difference between face morphing for G2 and G3 heads. Still going to buy it anyway, though.

    Unshaven 2 autofits to G3 well, but won't follow expressions in my experience.

    I think it will follow the expression IF you dial in the expressions first, then do the auto-fit.  I say "I think" because I sort of remember doing that. I do know that trick worked with Unshaven for Genesis when used on Genesis 2 males.

    Yes, but don't forget the difference with G3 — the earlier generations do expressions with morphs of the head mesh, G3 uses an actual face rig that's manipulated with parameter dials. I'm not sure if Autofit can follow that.

    Just tried it out. Works surprisingly well autofitted on G3M, actually. Follows the head morphs well,. as expected. Also does a pretty good job of following many of the expressions I've tried, which I didn't expect. The only minor hiccup I've noticed so far is the upper lip doesn't seem to move at all  where the G3M face rig moves the upper lip quite a bit.

    That's not a showstopper, though, when you add in the Iray materials it's a definite instabuy.

    Yes, that upper lip thing was the biggest problem I had, too, now that you mentioned it. I purchased the Whiskers new product for G3M and it does follow the expressions that I've tried so far.

    It autofits to G2M. (I have Genesis 3 Male for Genesis 2 Male(s).) But I couldn't get it to follow pose control expressions at all, even after I used Edit Mode to set Autofollow to On. It does seem to follow face morphs, though.

    I wonder what the chances are Laticis will consider a G2M version. :/

    Here are some renders. The one with mouth closed is G3M with some morphs dialed in, but no expression applied. It autofits to those morphs pretty well, I'd say.

    The one with the mouth open and to the side is the same model with some pose controls dialed. The whiskers followed the Mouth Side to Side, but not the Mouth Open. The close up is the same model with the Love the Band expression applied. You can see that the whiskers don't move down with the jaw, mouth and lips.

    Thanks for keeping this thread at the top.  I sometimes forget to check the flash sales.

    Sultry Noir bundle for $14 and also an item that been on my wish list for a while.  I really am going to have to start keeping money in my bank account for real.

    This is a really good sale. There's a free, and lots of dollar items in the 'in here we're all mad' category that trigger the extra 30% on top of the base discount. :D

    Ouch, started out looking good, then everything but Daz Originals got pulled, now I don't even get my PC+ discount on anything in the category.

     

    And now discount is back, but cart reacts very oddly to changes.

    Yeah, looked real good with half my remaining Genesis wishlist in the cart for $63.50, added The Daz Dragon 3 Royal Hall with Royal Chairs and it went up to $66.12. Made a cuppa, refreshed: $160.00

    Oh well, ya snooze, ya lose. Next time.
