...his works pretty much make up 90% of my Architecture Library.
Well, after today's sale of discounted Jack stuff, I think they are dominating mine, now, too. ;)
(It's a race between Jack and Stonemason)
I had that race in my library, too. Jack won hands down, he had a slight edge since he has more content in his library. In both cases, they have very few items left that I haven't managed to get through various sales.
Do you do modding for Fallout 4 by any chance Jack?
I don't sadly, I barely have any time to even play it .. :(
Oh no!!
You must always make time for Fallout 4. My first playthrough ate through 400 hours lol
Wow, 400 hours? Hopefully not in one sitting ;)
Haha, no I spaced it out over a few weeks. One of the very few perks of being a poorly, housebound boy. Just waiting for the Geck to come out before I make some changes and hit the wastelands again for a modded up playthrough.
I think my play time is like ~10 hours.. :(
I want to do a few more things with it (like have actual bathers), but here's a preliminary render of 'West Park Hydro - Clean'
The floor is from Filter Forge Delfts (style of tile). Most of the metal is from Mec4D's PBS v1, Iray Worlds surrounding, and some use of concrete for walls/ceiling.
Nice — how did you get the water like that? The smoothed ripples look particularly lifelike.
I usually use a normalmap made in FilterForge, like this one.
I grabbed a ripple map from, let's see... First Bastion's SciFi-LivingQuarters (I basically went into my Textures directory and did a search for 'ripple')
I prefer to use displacement maps with water ripples -- I find it makes much more believable effects than bump (although bump & normal may do the trick).
Future Quiet Texture Set for Sigma. Lit by one of DT's latest in the Clouds HDRI for Iray
Which clouds HDRI product is that? Can't seem to find it...
I think he used this one.
yeah that one. :)
Thanks guys and gals
Very cool, nice work! :)
Thanks man
Hmm. Anderson Hall got an update today. It's been enDUFed, and now has directories for Materials/3Delight and Scenes/3Delight. I wonder if that means an Iray version may be coming our way soon....
Oh, and it's got a Promo lights version! Keen!
Aha, I wondered what the update was for (no clue in the ReadMe) - thanks for the information, sounds well worth 167 MB of my download allowance.
Yea, you will see updates coming down the line for the older sets of mine. As said, they've been updated, reformatted to the new product guidelines etc as well as some fixes too. It's amazing the little niggly things which have never been noticed (or at least, brought to my attention).
The only down-side is save files which you may have will be borked becuase of the updated data files. So please back up the existing files if you wish to continue to use those.
Couldn't possibly comment on Iray addons either ;)
Playing with Jack's Iray conversion I adjusted the tone mapping to make the scene brighter.

Really great one Szark!
Ooo, excellent! Got that in my cart right now, just shuffling things to get a nice cartful put together.
Thanks folks
Very cool Szark! :)
...indeed.
One of these days I'll be back in the PC so I can cathch up on all the neat things i've been missing.
