thanks for being plat coupon woes

I added an item in my cart, one only as the coupon says, which is daz original,  does not have the PC+ symbol on it, and is not a new item (2014 release), but it says the coupon is not valid. Why? I have double checked the spelling and even tried it in lower caps. 

Is anyone else having problems using the coupon?

    I just bought a thanks-4-being-plat item; it was ok after I removed the other product I had in my cart. Only one single item in the cart is allowed; don't ask me why. Ah, btw: Thank you, Daz! Nice idea. smiley

    Did you try making sure there are no blank spaces before or after the code? Sometimes that works.

    Thanks for the suggestion, There were no extra spaces though.

    I've just thought though, perhaps it's for DOs where the Artist is shown as just Daz Original, no other artist. The item I added was Daz and another artist. But that's still classed as a DO as it came up in the list of DO items....

    I have one in my cart that is DO and two other artists and the coupon is applying. What item is it? Maybe there's some unknown restriction on it.

    Okay, since I hadn't gone through checkout yet my coupon was still active so I went ahead and tried to apply it to Thian Hair and it seemed to work fine. I know you double checked the coupon code but definitely check it one more time. I did mine in all caps (not sure if that matters), also make sure there are no spaces and that everything is spelled correctly.

    I recieved it in email too and I am no longer PC member. I assumed it will not work, you must be a PC member to get it to work right?

    I did not receive a PC coupon. The only one I got was Thanks for my loyalty & support for Genesis 3 with a 20% off any new releases* today only. And the small print below states excludes new releases.... and I'm still laughing as I type this....

    Ignore the small print on that one.  It does work as intended, regardless.

    I had a chuckle over that one too.  Obvioulsy someone stuck a canned disclaimer on it without thinking.

    Eva1 I just tested that product you mentioned with only that product in my cart and it is working when I use the coupon code. The $5 is being deducted. Still no luck for you?

    Hmm,  It is working for me now. It wasn't earlier.  can you try clearing cache etc and refreshing then try once more.

    Enter it again, capitalizing letters RanDOmlY. That usually works for me when the cart is acting WEiRD about accepting CouPons.

    Tried that, tried different browsers, restarted PC...nada

    Eva1 are you a Platinum Club member? When I click on your name you are showing as a member and a PA but not showing as a PC+ member, which may be why the coupon isn't working for you.

    All PAs are Platinum Club Members. But I was wondering if it might have something to do with being a PA...only thing I can think of. If that's the case it's a bit mean Daz to tease me with voucherscheekysmiley

    No luck here either, I tried http://www.daz3d.com/d20-gear . Not currently a platinum club member, so like others above not sure if the coupon is only for plat members or is supposed to work either way.  Clearing cache, upper/lowercase didn't help, typed not pasted so no accidental whitespace.

    There's another coupon being sent for being a loyal customer giving additional X% discount* on new releases. You then read down by the asterisk and it says "Offer excludes new releases, PC+ items and gift cards." Ummm....

    The Plat one requires you to be currently flagged as a plat club member, yes. If you aren't no it won't work for you. The second coupon circulation for addition discount off of new releases should work for anyone who got that email.
