Some years ago when ironman13 was relatively new to publishing content she posted a WIP thread she was modeling and a few people noted some really minor nits that didn't really matter (something like aspect ratio for real world windows, stuff like that).  She could have ignored that, it really wouldn't make any discernible difference and changing it could be difficult but I recall her thanking people for the comment and then changing the models. I believe ironman really does strive to provide very high quality products, sort of a pride in craftsmanship there.  I marvel at how much content she produces, mind boggling.

i13 is probably my favorite vendor, if I had to pick one.

  • Agreed—a very talented artist and a gracious person. I've been buying and using her products for years. I have very old stuff that I will still use. These latest pose sets with their numerous partial options are brilliant as you can create so many variations. I'm only just starting to appreciate how useful they are and to wonder how I got along without them.

Not counting a few freebies, I've currently got 173 of Ironman's products in my runtimes which just barely edges out Valandar, with 170, for third place in my collection.  That's by far the most products I have from any non-corporate vendor.  (Numbers one and two are DAZ Originals and Poserworld, with a little over 4000 and 3000 items, respectively.)

    So, yeah.  Love that Ironman!

The only thing I don't get is why her poses don't seem to be compatible with the PoseCotnrol product which lets you mix and match poses (arms from  one, legs from another, that sort of thing). When I try to pick something from an i13 set it zeroes everything else. Weird. But since they  mostly all have partial options it doesnt really matter. Just wonder what's different under the hood.

  • Add me to the Ironman13 fan club!  She is the 3Don of the Genesis-era figures.

Me too! One of my top five vendors without doubt.

  • it's not just poses she's good at either has a lot of different themed products wish more of them were sold here also like the little cartoon comments she adds to her product promo pictures mostly on another site

Does this girl (ironman13) ever sleep? That is three large (and complex, and very high quality) enviroments sets she has released in the last couple of weeks or so, plus some pose sets on top. I believe she has also had releases at rendo, and who knows where else. One has to admire such a work ethic.

I love ironman's work too but don't get much here because it's iRay only. I've gotten a lot at that other place though.

Count me in as a fan although I don't buy a lot nowadays but her older sets still work great!

    Love, Jeanne :)

I am a HUGE fan of her work as well. Unfortunately, I can't use most of her latest stuff because she has chosen in most cases to go "Genesis 3 Only". I am one of those who is sticking with Genesis 2. Really, really wanted her Newsroom set but it only includes poses for G3. Still a fan although I cannot buy.

    Who?

A character from an old TV show. I'm old.

My point was I thought ironman13 was actually a small army of people turning out content under one name. Very impressive that it's one person doing all this.

  • I'm also a huge fan! I just wish there were more action centered pose packs from her and not just sexy standing poses.

  • I really like the set+pose combos and widh more PAs would do that. But they don't, so that;s a bit of a signature item/theme for her (among many different signature items/themes).

  • yeah that's another thing about her she includes a heap of bonus poses with her scene/object sets which is a real bonus then in her pose packs you don't get just a few poses you get heaps many that can be mixed and matched with others as well as different/seperate regions and even expressions again some divided into different regions of the face and can be mixed and matched

Yea, I've been thinking that too. She has been working together with Fugazi1968 for a while, but still, it's an impressive amount for even two people.

Yeah I used to like her stuff a lot but since the shift towards Iray Only items (with the amount of work I have to do it is very time consuming converting to 3DL) I am one of those, like to use straight out of the box types and yeah with all the poses being for G3F even though I have V7 (only because it was going cheap) I do more work with G2F..

Though I find I end up going to her Rendo store looking for items that don't require Iray..

There are a bunch of known PAs she regularly works with:   Zeddicus, RenderFX, Posetime, modelPro, Dragonfly3d, 3d sublime... and quite a few more on a less regular basis like Godin & Lyoness.

Ok, but she doesn't seem to list them as co-authors, except for Fugazi1968.
