ironman13 is one person? I thought she was like Remington Steele.

    Who?

A character from an old TV show. I'm old.

My point was I thought ironman13 was actually a small army of people turning out content under one name. Very impressive that it's one person doing all this.

Yea, I've been thinking that too. She has been working together with Fugazi1968 for a while, but still, it's an impressive amount for even two people.

There are a bunch of known PAs she regularly works with:   Zeddicus, RenderFX, Posetime, modelPro, Dragonfly3d, 3d sublime... and quite a few more on a less regular basis like Godin & Lyoness.

Ok, but she doesn't seem to list them as co-authors, except for Fugazi1968.

She does at Renerosity, which is where most of her product is published.  And at least some of the product at DAZ that credits Fugazi started off at Rendo as well.

Yea, I got some of their tutorials and other stuff at Rendo as well. Just checked her store there, holy cow, with all those huge pose packs plus those here at DAZ she already must have covered any possible human pose.

Yeah I used to like her stuff a lot but since the shift towards Iray Only items (with the amount of work I have to do it is very time consuming converting to 3DL) I am one of those, like to use straight out of the box types and yeah with all the poses being for G3F even though I have V7 (only because it was going cheap) I do more work with G2F..

Though I find I end up going to her Rendo store looking for items that don't require Iray..

Well, for the 3dl conversion of that living room, it actually didn't take very long:

Select everything. Expand all surface materials, select everything again. Convert to UberSurface.

Select the window and change that to be more glass-like (either refraction, if I care, or just an opacity map or just invisible, considering the scene).

Change the lamp bulbs to be uberarealights.

Tweak the lighting with some test renders until it looked how I want.

Put a sphere around everything that doesn't cast shadows and make it ambient-white so the view through the window looks right.

Shadows didn't look right on the main couch, so I added SubD.

Couch looked a little odd, so I noticed the bump/normals had vanished, re-added them.

    Done.

It wasn't 'two buttons and done,' but maybe 30-40 mins of work which I don't have to do ever again. Enh. And most of the work was lighting.

The pose packs are really where it's at for me. The partial body morphs are endlessly useful. I used the Variety and Spice pose pack on V4 up to G2. Only reason I'm not still using it for G3 is the new bones.

Yeah I have a lot of her products and it's amazing how much she puts out. Her pose packs with the separate body parts are very useful too. IMHO it seems like she's upped her quality... Or is that an Iray after effect? I also use Poser so I have lots of her Poser stuff. But like scenes from a few tears ago just render meh, but then the Firefly renderer typically produces meh results unless you put a lot of time into it or are one of the few wizards that can make it shine. I started using Octane over a year ago, and got used to having to edit every scene's shaders and often materials too. Some of her newer scenes I loaded up the Iray flavor, loaded her light preset and the results were pretty darn nice out of the box.
  • Ok thats it iroman  you have to be a team for christ sake how do you put out so much stuff lol, do you sit down and do everything in 24 hr setting and then release it threw the week or how do you do things lol

Big fan of Ironman's work.  General consensus is you don't need a lot of poses, but Ironman's poses are useful poses I find that I use a lot.
