"Disable Transform" (DS) vs "Bend" (Poser)

Hi all,
I have been using Poser until G2M/G2F came out.
One interesting feature of Poser was the "Bend" checkbox in the Properties Tab of each limb of a figure: if disabled, it would give a sharp bent between the related limb and the attached one when such limb was rotated.
This was particularly useful when dealing with clothes that had har parts (spaulders / shoulder pads) that would not look right if followed the shoulder / arm bends of the figure they were conformed to, while the rest of the clothing would keep following the character and its movements.
I could not find anything like that in DS, except for something called "Disable Transform", for which I could not find any documentation and that does not seem to do anything when disabled.

Anbody willing to shed some light on this?
Thanks in advance. Cheers

On a weight mapped figure there is no "Disable Bend" as it was only in regards to figures rigged using the older Poser rigging.

Disable Transform does what its labeled, it disables the dials under transform for translation, rotation and scale.

Thank you! I guess I have to learn more about weight mapping and how to edit it, so I might get a similar effect
