Yes I know ...waaay behind.blush
I have been working on a personal animated film project in my spare time for the last 2 and half  years and really did not want to break anything
therefore I am still on DS 4.7

I dont have Iray fully capable graphics hardware right now (CPU rendering only)
And I render over in Maxon C4D on my mac  for animations
but I use Cycles and more recently Reality 4 for occasional PBR stills on my windows machine.

I have a 4.8 standalone installer which will overwrite my 4.7 for good
so here is the question:
Are there any known issues with 4.7 to 4.8 breaking the following plugins

GENX2
Decimator
keymate
Graphmate
aniMate 2( full version)
Mcasual teleblend script to send scenes to blender

sorry just a little paranoid as I dont want my Character pipeline interrupted not even for one dayindecision

Thanks

When you upgrade, you need to make sure you upgrade the plugins as well.  Any plugin that comes included in DS is already updated.  Any thrid party plugins, free or for sale you will need to check with the plugin author.  Since you are not updating to DS4.9 then you may need to ask for older versions

I used both GenX2 and Decimator in 4.8 without any issues.

I use keymate, graphmate, and animate2 daily without issue in 4.8

...like yourself I am reluctant to take the next step and am sticking with 4.8 for now.

Don't care to rebuild all my characters' skin shaders for 4.9 (due to an Iray update) after I just got them to look halfway decent..
