Can someone please direct me to some good Tutorials for making buckles and buttons rigid on items in Daz Studio 4.8.

Thanks Kerya, but I would like one with a bit more detail. That one is a bit out of date.
The video here might help a bit. There's also "Rigidity Grouping and Mapping in DS 4.5+" available in the store. I can't speak to the tutorials usefullness as I wasn't willing the pay the price, but that, and the official docs are the limit of what I've come across.

I've been learning how to use rigidity maps lately and I found Josh's Darlings tutorials more useful than anything. The main rigidity tutorial is here but there have been changes in Studio since it was done so you need to look at this short tutorial as well. The only difference is that rigidity selection now works in vertex selection mode and you will not see it in the default polygon selection mode, as used in the main tutorial. The change was made in a 4.6 build of Studio.
It is a two part process. One to assign the geometry you want to be rigid to a group (participants), and then to select 3 or more reference vertices (e.g. if it's a button, then the references will be on the cloth it is attached to) and assign those to a reference group.
