    Morning, everyone.

I switched my age to hex for a while (makes me 0x37). But these days on the rare occasion someone asks my age, I have to ask what year it is and then spend some time working it out. One day I hope to be famous enough to have a wikipedia page, then I can just look it up on the internet.

Age ain't nothing but a number.

Not necessarily.  I would say RIP, but maybe she's hip hopping somewhere and shaking things up. smiley

How many birthdays is tjohn allowed to have?

In the span of a few days, I mean.

...I tried to get the state to let me adopt the Mars standard year but they wouldn't go for it (if they did be able to say "half-truthfully" I was 32 and be employable once again).

Wow.  Down here some folks never retire.  Or if they retire from one thing, they hop right onto another.  surprise

    Which question is more stupider?

Why does 13 GB downloads take so long?  or Why are Stonemason stuff so expensive?

Sticks is not equal to Styx.

I'd link to the song, but one of those rascals is wicked.  In live performances, anyway.

Edit:  CYA Clarification -- one of the members of Styx went on to sing with Damn Yankees.  "Smile when you say damn Yankees" is a line from the song, Damn Yankees.

    No insult intended. :-)

I've got a render going, but the face has too much light and the rest not enough.  Too bad.  I liked that light setup.

    Good luck with your model.

...thought you might be in Oz.

Nope, content in staying right here in (supposedly) dmp rainy Oregon.  Lived in the South for a year and unfortunately saw too much of the "bad side" of life while I was there, plus can't handle the heat along with the oppressive humidity (as well as totally loathe cockroaches, mosquitoes, and fire ants).

My experience over the last three years since I lost my job has shown me that ageism in hiring and retention has become a serious issue that little is being done about (particularly in the tech sector), hence my decision to retire.  I feel I have a bit more to offer than just greeting customers at Walmart or working the counter at a fast food joint for minimum wage.

Some of the best and most entertaining rants are posted by McGyver.

Yeah they have a spell check but it's really not good as you have to turn it on every time you enter a comment, it doesn't flag words with typos that are less than four letters long, and sometimes (actually rather often) the correction suggestions can be way out in left field.

The live performance is much more entertaining.  This is the clean version.

Ted Nugent -- well, I thought it was him, but maybe it's not -- sings the "Smile when you say damn Yankees" line at the end of the song.

Wow, now there they go with Renegade.  Next in line, I guess.
