DS 4.5?

I keep hearing people mentioning this, but I can't really find much info about it. Obviously, I understand that it's a newer version of DS4, but people mention change logs? Is it a free upgrade to DS4, or is a pay upgrade?

Historically DAZ has a free version and a slightly better pay version, am I correct in assuming that is what this is?

    as far as i know it is just a beta version at this point.

    It is a free upgrade, it can use your previous serial number.

    It is a release candidate, so not an official release yet.

    It cannot co-exist with DS4.0, so if you have anything critical in process you shouldn't install it yet.

    Third-party plugins have not been updated and will not work.

    Do you have any idea if it will negate a DS4 Pro installation once it is released? Because as it stands we still have vers 1-4.0 in co-existence, so I hope this isn't the case when it's released as this will negate the free/paid DS 4Pro.

    It will take the same serial number you had for 4.0, so it will be Pro.

    Wait a second...I was still under the impression that Daz 4.5 beta would be a separate paid program once it's finished and I figured it would've negated my DS4 Pro once finished, but if it's not and it still can accept my serial, then this is great, thanks you guys for still supporting this great program!
