Thanks for the New Tutorials!

I can honestly say that any new users are going to be extremely well served by having a group of video tutorials up for the current version of Daz that takes into account many of the changes in the overall design of the program which made the previous tutorials, while still very informative, a bit of an unnecessary challenge.
Thanks a lot!
The supplimentary tut on Hot-keys alone is golden, and showed me several things I had no idea about.

Hot keys tutorial?
Woohoo! Maybe someone in power was following the forum complaints about lack of manuals... :)
Yeah it's added as a supplimental tutorial right under the "Getting Starting" tut.
Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing. These tuts aren't that old at all going by some of the screen shots, that match what the Daz home screen had up maybe a month ago.
My brain is a bit befuzzled at the moment... is that in the program itslef? On this site?
It's bannered across the top, just left of the FastGrab Promo.
They started doing the tutorials about six months ago and have been on their YouTube channel. They have been adding new tutorials every few weeks. The DAZ 101 videos are new and were just uploaded to their channel yesterday. They have some great videos and I've been linking to them whenever I can when answering questions here on the boards. I think the videos have been awesome and I've learned a few new things myself, especially with the animation videos. The one on Emissive Materials and Using the Cut Out Ability in the Uber Base had some very unique ideas. In fact, I used the Emissive idea in one of my April entries for the New User Contest. I had a blast trying to get the emissive correct on the hair! I'm surprised it took them this long to even mention them on the DAZ site! They are a great resource.
Yep, they have been doing new ones for a time. I highly advise all new users to watch them, and even old-timers, and those who hate video tutes!
Agreed!
I am a do it and learn person, but on a lark I decided to check out the videos and even picked up on a couple of things I wasn't aware of, so thanks DAZ. Even saved the IRAY ones for future use. i am always amazed when I look at DAZ related videos at how many different layouts there are for DS, LOL
I love the new video tuts ,thanks daz I was feeling a little lost with Iray lately, nothing comes out right for me.I have definatley learned some useful things I might even try some animation!
