it looks good but I'm hesitant because of the price. Anyone able to offer a perspective on it?

There are several free tutorials by Dreamlight available in the store. Get one of those and see if you like his method. I would also suggest waiting for the vendor's next flash sale. These happen at least once every three months if not sooner. If you don't mind frequent emails, you can subscribe to his newsletter/notification. You can get some really good deals buying directly from him. However, there are some tutorials that are only sold through the DAZ store. Unless you have a pressing need for the tutorial, wait the market. His flash sales are usually 60% off. Some end up in Fast Grab at 70% off. The lowest sale price I've seen for his products has been 90% off.
Wow that's a tremendous value! Thanks!
In my personal opinion they're not worth the money. Plenty of tutorials on Youtube. Make sure any tutorials are at least in 2016 or late 2015 since many earlier today ones had several misconceptions abput how iray works.
Agreed. He spends too much time talking about other things, he likes to toot his own horn an awful lot, and he still manages to screw up a couple of things along the way. You'll get way more useful info elsewhere.
That's why I suggested trying a free one first and waiting until either the next flash sale, fast grab or waiting for one of his odd weekend deals.
If you are a native speaker of English, you will find that he talks way to slow. I know this isn't a fair criticism since I'm sure he speaks many languages well. But for the learner it can be painful.
