Studio Different When Opening- Doesn't Ask Me About Offline

I didn't do anything different and although I'm still getting that stupid "need to reauthenticate" garbage every time (and yes, with the latest version, still getting that) all of a sudden in Content Library now with the Daz Studio Formats I have Daz Connect in addition to Daz.  When I go up to Connect, the Work Offline is not an option, it's darkened out. Am I offline or online, and why did the Work Offline suddenly disappear from my opening of the studio, and why is work offline not an option?  I don't use connect.

    There's an option to stop the login window from opening automatically. Once a user checks that box when logging in, DS opens in offline mode from then on. The option is not available in the login windows to uncheck, either. (Annoying, if you change your mind about it.) You mave have accidentally checked the box.

    Or it could be a glitch with your computer. Do you shut your computer off every night? If not, give that a try. I used to work tech support for a local internet service provider, and it was amazing the number of computer ills that went away with a simple power down and reboot. And it if that doesn't fix it, at least you'll know you aren't chasing your tail trying to find the problem. (I don't know how many times I've wasted frustrating hours trying to fix something before I decided to reboot, and then kicked myself when the problem went away!)

    You can get the login box back by going to - Edit - Preferences - Start Up - Show Login Page

    If Work Offline is greyed out (and you didn't click to go online) then you are Offline - DS cannot be told to connect automatically, though it can be told not to offer to connect on launch. The DAZ Connect virtual folder will show the isntalled items regardless of connection state - connection is needed only to authenticate or to download new content.

    If you are still being repeatedly prompted to authenticate please open a bug report, if you haven't.

    Thanks! I hate that it disappeared on its own though. I had already upgraded to the latest version and opened and closed it several times. 

    Richard- I remember in another thread you said that authenticate thing seemed to have been solved with this latest version, and there was me and another person who said they were still getting it. So it may be more common than just a few of us. I'll file though to give them a heads up.
