Possible to create Custom Panes?

Anyone know if it is possible to create a custom Pane? I want to ad my favorites to it, so I don't have to scroll through so many folders to get to commonly used figures, props, clothes, etc. Thanks.

    Yes, it requires C++ coding an SDK Plugin.

     

    Or you can just create a 'Favorites' folder, and create links to all the files you want in it.

    You can set up custom categories quite easily.  Right click on the picture icon of the item you want to put in a favorites folder and choose categorize.

    Another option, if you are willing to use a menu rather than a pane:

    To quickly create a menu item to load a commonly-used content item:  right-click the content thumbnail and select "Create Custom Action". (These will appear in the Scripts menu).

    Thanks. I think I'll go the Favorites Folder route. Just want the routine content used in one place, so that will work. Thanks again.

    How do you create a Favourites Folder?

    I use categories to organise my stuff but since I installed 4.9 my categories have started to go wrong. Perhaps I could use Favourites as place tp keep stuff that won't got into categories.
