Iray Shaders and "older" models

Cool Render! Ever since this post started ive been digging through my older stuff just so that I can see what I can do with iray. Id imagine that iray shaders have been pretty welcome to all you vendors. I keep buying alot of the older gen3 stuff just because of iray. Im even experimenting with toon stuff like crazy.

Here are some older and props. 3 Akio's, Hiro, lots of trucks, the Tear Drop camper, the SPV Garage retextured and the Lights are Lights.

The origainally images of the garage were really dinky for the size model, most likely worried about memory.

Had fun with the Paint! for DAZ Studio Iray and Mec4d PBS Shaders vol.1 for Iray on two fo the Jeeps. Mec4d PBS Shaders on the building fixtures.

I'll work on the woody next, make it look less like plywood ad more like hardwood.

This is my desktop image, which spands several monitors. I rendered it about three times larger than the desktop and then reduced it, then redused it again for this image.

Wow. This thread is really impressive. I was (pretty much) expecting it to die.

I've been dowloading quite a few free figures that I would love to try with Iray (I need to add them to my library). Although, I have "fallen in love" (not in a weird way) with MayaDoll. She looked a lot better in Iray than I thought she would. I'm now looking foward to what Iray can do with other older models.

There are items I've bought recently that are 14+ years old, and I love them, particularly with spiffy new Iray shaders. Lots of opportunity!

Makes me wish we could get some of the older discontinued content. Finding some of the old freebies and updating their textures makes them look great.

Clothes converted with CrossDresser. Have forgotten to fix the transparency on the dress.

I've been working on bringing my Gen 3 peeps into Iray with varying degress of success. I've used the Anagenesis shaders, which seem to work very well on other generations, but I don't think they're fully applying to V3/M3/etc. I need to dig into that big Anagenessis thread more to see if there are some tweaks I need to do. Interesting to see what people have done here with other shaders. 

@traveler Are you still working on an Iray shader? I'd love to take it for a spin if you ever do!

And I'll definitely check out Will's shaders as well. You can see my progress on my art thread and in my gallery under "V3 Beauties."
