What modelling program do you use? Hexagon lets you use fonts to create 3D text. Download a Neon font and use the font to 3D to make your sign.

Here are a couple of TrueType fonts...

Here's a previous thread on the subject...

    And if you use Blender....

Quick and dirty but Blimpo makes a pretty good Neon font.

Well…..there’s a puppy in the parlor,
    And skillet on the stove,
    And a smelly old blanket,
    With a Navajo wove,
    There’s popcorn in the pooper,
And a porker in the pot
    There’s pie in the pantry,
    And the coffee’s always hot
    There’s sausage in the morning,
    And a party every night,
    There’s a nurse on duty,
    If you don’t feel right,
There’s a chicken on the table,
But you got to say grace,
There’s always something cooking down at Old Joe’s Place

That one would probably be the best because the letters would all join like a real neon sign and it's a solid font so you can just select the curve then sweep a circle around it to get a neon tube.

Yes...that one is my favorite.  I did some renders with that one before...now where did I put them...

Neon on top; LostWages on the bottom...

Yup.. I just gotta build all 26+. Good thing I'm already brain damaged.. that's half the work.

In Blender, I just add the font to 'text', type the word(s) and convert to mesh (either with a direct conversion or sweeping a circle around the curve).
