The right tool

My 3d skills are not going anywhere, having started with high end tools and too few time to learn it.

So re-evaluating my options and now evaluating DAZ, Carrara, Poser, iClone to a) learn the basics b) produce something and not only tests c) return to pro tools with better comprehension.

Not interested really in modelling just animation, interested into scenes with vegetation and nature (not only), not focused on characters that need to be just a part of the whole scene. So a complete general purpose 3d animation system with all the tricks to help newbie and the basic elements to learn.

About DAZ I did have some doubts about the availabilities and features of: particle system, liquid simulation, volumetric materials, rigid and soft bodies cinematic, FBX exporting, GPU rendering.
