Creating Autofit/clone/compatibility presets?

Hi,

I'm not really sure what to search for on Google. So, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to a tutorial, please?

I'm looking for a tutorial which tells/instructs you on how to make Autofit/clone/compatibility preset(?).

Example: When you use a piece of clothing on G3F, but it was originally made for V4. You have an Autofit box that appears, then you have to tell Daz who the item originally belonged to.

I'd like to try and make an autofit/clone/compatiblity preset so I could have more clothes for Star!

I really hope this makes sense, as I'm totally rubbish at explaining things. Apologies for the bad title too.

Thanks for any help :3

Aeridis made a bunch of autofit clones for Star at ShareCG.

Be sure to get her Comet male morph as the download includes an assortment of male autofit clones.

Apologies, I've only just seen your post.

I've downloaded everything Aeridis has for Star. I wanted a G2M to Star! so Comet would have some clothes too.

Plus, I'd love to make more clothes compatible for Star! in the future (like Aiko 5, Victoria 3 etc.)  :)

The Comet package should include clones for G2M, M4 and H3 already, so you should be good to go for now until you're up to speed creating clothes. wink

  • I've been useing the V4 to Star a lot recently, just trying it out, and for the most part, it work's very well. Shoe's and glove's are a hit or miss affair and I've discovered that a lot of add on sleeve's most which has billowing  vail's, do not do so well, nor to dre4ss's with big puffy skirt's or are very long,(reaching ankle length). Other then these problems, I am very very happy with the V4 Clone. I've only tested the G1 & GeF clones out on a couble of items but like the V4 clone, I am impressed and happy. I am in the process of digging out my Aiko 3 archive to give her even more outfit's.
