I need a robot dog

I'm working on a new project and I'm needing a robot dog. A playful looking one, not menacing with guns like a couple I found. I noticed with poser there is a model that comes with it but I need it for Daz Studio. Anyone know of one that will work. Willing to buy but not wanting to spend everything I've got. It needs to be usable for commercial since I plan it for a book cover and inside pictures.

    Well, we used to have a little robot dog called "D-Spot", but I don't see him in the store anymore. Shame, because I still see the matching cat and mouse, and the D-Bot. He was rather old, but still useable... very much in the style of "The Jetsons".

    I love working with Watch Dog and you can hide the gun so he is perfect for weaponless type renders.  The promos show him with and without.  If you want, you can see what I did with him here.  I'm afraid I banged him up a little and he doesn't look quite his best, but it will give you an idea of what he looks like in an average render.  I'm not familiar with the one that comes with poser, don't have it.

    Yeah, I've got the mouse and cat and was thinking the cat was the dog. So I made plans and started a project and then realized, dangit. That's a cat.

    Watchdog would not work. I need a face that hopefully can show some emotion since the project is geared toward kids. I think even without the guns he might scare the wee little ones. smiley

    I have millenion dog, toonimal dog and scratchies. What about a texture or add on for one of those? Like the bot add ons for genesis. Anyone know of anything?

    Based on images found in the gallery the past few days or so I would say the chances of a robot dog showing up in the store soon are very high.

    Edit: On second thought, it's probably more menacing looking than what you might be looking for.

    It looks awesome. Still might be a touch too fierce but I might be able to make it work. Salivating a bit at the moment. I think it's a definate buy even if not for this project.

    Edit. Oh, I like the police packs on it. Interesting.

    Of course, it is.  Why am I not surprised.  I want him!!!!  He looks great!  I'm wondering how I missed him in the gallery?

    Over at YURDigital they have RoboRover...he's a basic Poser rigged (cr2) critter who should work in Studio, but will need his materials adjusted.

    Simon3d has this freebie on Renderosity...

    Oh, he's cute!  Just added him to my wishlist over there.  I'm not Prime anymore, but even that nonPrime price is pretty good.

    Yes. Puppy Rex is perfect. It fits well because my story is about an inventor dad who gives his kid a robo dog because he thinks real ones are too messy ut the kid wants a real dog anyway.

    Okay, I'm the proud owner of a new Robo Puppy. I might call it Spot-Bot (Or smething better when I have time to think, or ask the wife).

    I have robot spiders, snakes, wasps, various humanoids... having a robot dog would be awesome.

    I was going to mention him (as soon as I could remember his name and find him, that is). Also I did a search for D-Spot and found some genius at DAZ had removed him from the catalog :(  And the delightful poses by digiport as well :(

    I love D-Spot but I think you'll be very happy with Rex.

    That makes two of us :)  No worries... I try to keep a few bucks in PayPal for those times when I just can't control myself :)

    My first quick render with Rex. Poor thing got a whiff of something he didn't llike. Are Robo dogs noses even more sensitive than real doogs? My story is temporarily titled Robots Don't Fart.
