ColorTherapy for Xanadu Hair doesn't shade the scalp

Does anybody have the Xanadu hair and the Color Therapy hair shader?  I wanted to get this from RDNA but it was a little to expensive so I was so glad to see it here and for a steal.  Anyway, I tried it today and the hair is actually 2 parts: the hair and the scalp.  But the shader only seems to work on the hair, not the scalp.  I tried everything then ended up matching the hair shade to one from OOT iray hair shader, applied it to the scalp and it worked fine.  But maybe I'm doing something wrong

    I have this too and I just hide the scalp or or zero out the opacity (for the handles as well).

    Select the scalp part and apply the matfile to it as well.. I just used it.  (though the download from rdna with its update to fix the scalp problem, maybe daz got the wrong version)

    Thanks for reminding me about the update.  I recall receiving an email about it, but never got around to downloading it.

    I just purchasedit April 9th, shouldn't I have gotten the updated version?
