Texture and Pose Converters for G2 and G3?

Is there a texture converter that does G2 to G3?  V4 to G3?  I have one that does V4 to G2 so I imagine that could then work from G2 to G3 if a converter exists.

Is there a pose converter that does... wait for it... G3 to G2?  I've asked this one before.

If not, will these ever exist?

Thanks.

There are some texture convertors but they are not 1-click solutions. The whole layout is so different with G3 from everything that went before that easy options simply are not there.

That said, Blacksmith3D over on Rendo has a Texture convertor which is designed to move G2F textures to G3F. There is also a module to port over V4 textures. I've heard that the setup is fairly involved, but that it works.

They don't have any yet that will port to G3M, but it is anticipated that there will be.

I think there is another but I'm blaning on whose it is.

No pose convertors from G3 to G2. A couple of them in the other direction, but not backwards. The rigging is way different with G3.

Thanks for the info... I guess I will hold out hope for simpler ones in the future.

There is also the solution by Cayman Studios over at Rendo for V4 to G2F and G2F to G3F. Whilst not one click solutions, they are in fact 3 click solutions, and there is no need to convert any texture maps. I have the G2F to G3F version, and it works very well.

I recently purchased the product by Cayman Studios, "Legacy UVs for Genesis 3: V4.  It is fabulous!  It requires you to load up your V4, apply the texture and save it as a .duf material.  You bring in your G3F, click the script that says "Prepare G3F".  You then load the V4 duf material.  I found it appeared on G3F but looked very strange.  I clicked on the script to "Apply V4 UV" and, there it was, a perfect fit!  No seams or weirdness and full resolution!  This is a great solution for those of us who have a huge V4 skin collection!  I contacted Kurt at Cayman last night (4/5) asking if he was going to create the same utility for M4.  He contacted me within an hour saying it was done and he was getting ready to submit it here for the store.  He couldn't say how long it would take from submission to availability.
