Anyone know if Cyber Interface is Iray only?

Comments
Yes. All six items load as Props>Machinery, there are no other options. Iray shaders.
But you could reskin it with other emissive mats, I suppose?
Thanks. I know it's a freebie, but just trying to determine whether it's worth the added effort it would take to make it usable in 3DL.
There are five emmissive surfaces on the complicated one.
Shouldn't be too tricky to reskin, maybe?
I'll take a look at it tonight...it probably won't be too hard to set up a few 3DL presets using UberArea and UberSurface...
That would be so awesome, mjc. Thanks :D
here is a "quickie" in 3delight. Most surfaces were rather easy to get out of the texture files that come with it, the orange on the center rings could be more glowing... working on that. On the the two metal zones I applied metals from the ultimate shader pack (will add a link to the sharecg freeby later, edit: here is the link http://www.sharecg.com/v/27568/material-and-shader/Ultimate-Shader-Pack-for-DAZ-Studio)
Here's my version...
Meh, yours works better
what material did you use for the foot and how did you get the glowy up for the rings?
I would love to know, too, mjc.
:D It looks pretty good.
The base/pedestal is not out yet...it's a second metals pack of omUberSurface presets I'm working on...it's steel/iron and less 'brushed' than the pack of precious/semi-precious metals I have up on ShareCG.
For the glow...go to the Ambient channel and click the gear on Ambient Strength...edit it to turn off the limits, then crank up the strength to around 500. I also pulled the overall Opacity strength down 50 %, which seemed to help brighten up the colors.
The three in the middle will need to wait until after dinner...
The plastic (both color and 'clarity' still need a little tweaking on the blue upright screen thingies...) and I need a better 'environment'...
Looking good, though ... thanks for experimenting for us non-Irayers. :D
Thanks, never though about just changing the limit settings on the ambient. Now having those metal shaders will come handy once you make them public.
I have a lot of good metal and glass shaders. I was more concerned how to use the colorful glowy areas with 3DL knowing they are set up for Iray.
And here's everything...
Yeah, Ambient often looks good at 200+%
Really looks awesome, mjc. This would prob make a nice tutorial for people who want to convert Iray products to 3DL, too.
