PBS Shaders vs PBR Shaders/ Is there an actual difference? If they are the same, which term is the correct one? To my mind, PBS seems like a typo or something, I thought. "PBS Shader" would likely mean Physcially Based Shader Shader." This seems odd as it assumes a reference to the word shader twice. PBR on the other hand would likely mean Physcially Based Render Shader, avoids double referencing the word shader, and therefore seems more accurate to me. I like to have a concise manner of describing things, and since English is not the first language of many community members keeping terminology consistent will likely be a benefit.
So are they the same, or are they different? If the same, which is the more accurate manner of description? Thanks in advance for your feedback and insights.

So I assume no one knows anything about this?
I think it's more of a case of our HDRI gurus are all in bed, they tend to post earlier in the day.
Ah, that makes sense.
They're basically the same, but there are some distinctions depending on how you mean the term. This is a good article.

Chris,
Thanks a ton! That's exactly the info that I needed.
PBS is Physically Based Shading and PBR is Physically Based Rendering so the same thing but I like PBR better because I don't confused it with the Public Broadcasting Channel.
