Using DAZ and ComfyUI

I am using DAZ in a bit of an off-beat way and I wondered if anyone else has ever done this.

I am have been developing my own suite of apps to make consistent characters and generate stories with them using ComfyUI and Flux.

One of the big limitations of Flux is that it does not handle complex poses well.  In is almost useless for scenes involving more than one character or scenes involving complex interaction with surfaces of furniture

A solution to the problem is to use "Control Nets" which force the model to conform to a "depth map" of the scene and to essentially render that scene with it's own imagery, lighting and details.

So, I have been using DAZ to generate scenes that serve as the reference images for ComfyUI control net workflows.

I have tried other character posing tools but DAZ is far and away the best option.  It is also brilliant because it allows me to shape characters and then force Flux into respecting those non-standard human figures - something that it is also really bad at.

Effectively I create the scene in DAZ and then render it with an AI imaging engine.  I am getting some very interesting results.

I hope that no one here thinks that I am showing disrespect to DAZ, I sincerely respect the true 3D artists here.  My skills lie in AI imaging. I am excited to have found a tool that lets me create better images

Has anyone done this or something similar.
