Does this product do basically the same thing as other products like the one from V3digitimes?

And if the preset you use on a figure is already fro iRay, are you suppose to use a product like this on top of it? Or is a product like this just for materials that aren't iRay?

I already have the one from V3digitimes that is hear http://www.daz3d.com/iray-smart-converter-and-advanced-skin-managers-for-genesis-3

Thanks

I have the same product and was wondering the same thing. I like these iray reshader products, and would be interested if it is different, but it is tough to tell from the images.

This one offers SSS and Specular maps for dry and oily skin ...  I'm always looking for setups to study as I don't really make much use of the G3 figures as I use Hivewire figures.  I'm still perplexed by some things and wish someone created a very good tutorial with allot of images to show what maps SHOULD look like and what settings are optimal across the board for the most part.  I think all my questions put off folks from helping me in the skin thread only because I'm not using the same base as they are and I guess they helped me all they could with the process.  So now it's just down to buying what I think will help me understand things better and studying them as I'm not overly techy!  lol

Well I was within a hair of buying it but the list of included textures is only 22 so it must only be useful presets over existing material sets so I think I'll wait for MECD's product for human PBR. It's still useful for people that have big libbaries of texture sets though.

    Included Textures:
