Dartanbeck's "Animating Dynamic Characters" question

Dartanbeck's "The Complete Guide to Animating Dynamic Characters in DAZ Studio" is great. But, before I jump in, I want to make sure I understand the workflow.

The download is comprised of MP4 tutorials, so I assume the Base Scene File mentioned at the beginning of the Part1-1 video is something I create, not a provided DAZ file that I open. Do I also create the various aniblocks needed as I follow the tutorial? For instance, do I duplicate the "Genesis 3 Female Simple Walk Stop Turn Walk 2" aniblock as I'm working through the tutorial?
