If installed with DIM, have you tried looking in DIM. Find the product in Installed tab, right-click > show installed files.

Also, have you checked that there isn't 2 zips.

1.4 gb is intalled and it is installed with only the DIM app.

But if you in DIM look at the installed files list, is the materials then listed as installed, missing or not in file list.

Where are you looking for the materials?

This is a valid complaint. For some reason the colors for this hair are under Materials according to the readme filelist.

    /Materials/FeSoul/FE Sleek Tapered Short Hair/

That isn't how 99.9% of the rest of the hairs are setup in Daz and sold in the Daz shop.

    With the Hair.

    /People/Genesis 8 Female/Hair/FeSoul//Mat Presets/

    /People/Genesis 8 Female/Hair/FeSoul/Base Colors/

    /People/Genesis 8 Female/Hair/FeSoul/FE Sleek Tapered Short Hair/Dye Colors/Step1 Root Colors/

    etc.

They probably didn't want to duplicate the DUFs? But DUF files don't take up a lot of space. The textures being references aren't actually in the DUF files.

I had no issue finding the hair materials yesterday in Smart Content.

  • There are a few people who use a moderate proportion of Non-DAZ sourced content which doesn't habitually come DIM compatible. You can get very out of date quickly, to the point where it's not worth using Smart Content. Regards, Richard.
