Can't access bones in hair

For some reason I can't see/access the bones in that hair.  Probably because the hair is not selectable with the mouse (it is selectable on the scene tab only), which is the case with some products.  So what to do here?

    Never mind - found a "Show Bones" option under Parameters, which was set to Off.
