Wet skin shell doesn't work with anatomical element geograft | UV issue?
Hello guys,
I wanted to use Wet Skin Geoshell by Linday (attached to Wet and Dry Tops product) with dbXX genitalia geograft on Genesis 8.1.
On Wet Shell surfaces tab I've copied body and legs into dbXX torso and legs surfaces, which correctly applies reflectivity settings, but the wet drops are gone:

I'm assuming it has to do with UV settings, because both zones use different UV maps, yet I don't have the option to use the same ones (not available on the drop down menu):

Is this fixable in an easy way?
Thanks in advance!

A simple explanation first. Wet geoshell has surface for body parts but no gen. Gen has surface for torso and gen. There is a mismatch of surfaces and textures.
So, in an image editor, make a new map using torso textures and gen map as a template to cover that area. Apply generic skin iray setting to gen in geoshell so that it has same iray type as torso (if torso is pbr then gen must be pbr); the shader are found in the default shaders folder. Copy and paste torso textures to gens in geoshell. Replace torso textures with newly made gen textures.
Most geograft gens come with a geoshell fix script.
Looking at the readme for dbxxx's G8F XX gen product, I noticed "Automatic Shell Fix.dse" in the ..\My Library\People\Genesis 8 Female\Anatomy\dbxxx-XX\ directory.
Try that.
Correct, they have different UV layout. Linday's wet skin product only support anatomical elements from Daz3D official rather than 3rd-parties.
So, you have no way to make it other than converting the texture maps with other software like Faceform Wrap or Blender. Image Editor will never work for such a case... though there're only a Bump and an Opacity map~~
Or, simply avoid using AEs when using these geoshell products ~
