I have a g9 with an x next to it instead of a checkmark. I cannot get rid of the x. Is there some trick? ANytime I have had this happen before a simple click to turn the x into a check has worked. Now nothing.

    never mind. It was a dial on an attached grafted item. just cannot use that dial I guess

    Did you mean the icon in the Scene pane showing whether a node is selectable?
