Every other render always defaults to CPU unless I change any render setting, what do I do?
It's like this. I fix the scene, pick my render settings and click render, then CPU temp goes 99 degrees and I get the slowest rendering speed ever, so I have to cancel, change whatever setting and start rendering again. is this a common problem? any solutions?
I had this problem with DAZ 6 so i thought Ill see if it works on Daz 4.24 and the problem is still there, im going crazy.
I'm too scared to queue renders because i'm scared it will switch to CPU and when it does my cpu temp goes up to 99 degrees.
I'm not sure what info I need to give to help solve this problem but it goes back to GPU as long as I change whatever render setting to something else.

Which setting(s) do you change? Instancing can have a direct effect on memory use. Are you closing the existing renders before doing a fresh one - if not the old render is still in the GPU memory, so that it can be resumed.
If your CPU is getting that hot, you need to look at your cooling. First things first, if you have air cooling, clean out your CPU radiator and fan and the case fans/filters. If the PC has been built for several years, it's probably a good idea to unseat the cooler and replace the thermal paste. If you have water cooling, you may need to adjust your radiator fan settings to get them to 100% earlier (I have mine set to ramp up to 100% when the CPU hits 75°c) and CPU throttleback set at 85°c).
