Power Pose Tools crashing D|S

So, it's been 28 days since I submitted a ticket and no response, so figured I'd try here. For the past 2 months, everytime I try to launch Studio it gets as far as "Power Pose Tools Loading", then it crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Studio (both 4 and 6), and gone in and deleted and reinstalled Power Pose Tools and I still get the same problem. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? My drivers are up to date.

    That doesn't necessarily mean that Power Pose is the problem, more likely whatever comes next. Is this affecting both DS 4 and DS 6? What happens if you try launching a differently-named instance? Daz Studio Pro 4.12 - instances

    It affects both DS4 and 6 yes. I haven't tried a differntly named instance? I'm not sure how to do that

    If you create a shortcut (on the desktop or elsewhere, by right-dragging from the Program Files folder for  example) to launch DS then you can right-click>Properties and edit the Target line to add 

    -instanceName test

    after the closing quote on theb path so that it will launch a clean, distinct version - that should deal with anything caused by setting, such as an auto-load file.

    I tried that and I got a popup saying "the name is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct."

    Please post the full target text - my guess is that the switches are inside the quotes around the path for DS.

    then you want

    "D:\DAZ\Content\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\DAZStudio.exe" -instanceName test  -copyAppSettings none

    Ok, I did that and it still crashes

    Hmm, and you are not getting a crash report dialogue?

    I meant the pop-up  dialogue that has bottons down the right-hand edge, including one to save a report

    This is what was included when I downloaded the log from that pop-up. I had installed this character through Connect, so I re-installed through DIM. That didn't fix the problem so I uninstalled the product through DIM and that didn't fix it either

    The pop-up should give you a zip, which has some other files that may be more revealing (the log probably wasn't updated during the crash). The cloudlog is related to accessing your account for content updates etc., so it is very unlikely to be useful (unfortunately the crash report zip doesn't always include the real log).

    Intersting, there appears to be an attempt to display a message box and there are some issues with modulkes named BT_something which suggests a plug-in. What third-party plug-ins do you have installed, especially those not from the Daz store?

    Were you using Timeline with multiple keyframes in the scene with which loading PowerPose crashed DS ?

    The only plug-ins I have are Ultimate Pose Mixer and 3DU's Pose Symmetry Scene Tools and Message Magic Bundle (and since those are scripts I'm not sure if they count as plug-ins)

    I don't use the timeline. And it never even opens. All I get is the loading screen and then it crashes
