armor for wings

i would love for creators to make some armor for wings that are out there. it can make for some very nice art work. this picture i did many years ago with a set that was made for v4 base. would very muck like to see something for the new wings.

    At least the image shows the armor protecting the bones of the wings. But how would armor on wings be practical? Wouldn't that ruin the air foil? And the added weight can't be good for flying. And if the answer is "magic" why have wings at all?

    This seems to be a race with no competitors, a really cool idea. I usually choose mechanical or magical wings, I've never thought of directly modifying biological wings. Maybe it can be done through geoshells or binding items.

    Oh, and shaders too.
