DAZ to Photoshop bridge isn't working

Hi,

I never installed the DS bridge because I didn't have PS.  I recently bought it and I can't seem to get the DS bridge to install.  IM says it's installed (about 430kb file), but it doesn't show up in DS under "send to".  First, the bridge failed to install.  Deleted and tried it again and it seemed to install but still didn't have the option to open it in DS.  I deleted it again and  manually downloaded the bridge from my DAZ account (11.6 mb) and put it in my IM download folder, but that didn't do anything either.  PS opens the bridge on its end and tells me that DS doesn't have the bridge open (which is apparently true).  Any suggestions?

 

I am using DS 4.23 and PS 26.2.1.2

    Still not working.  All the files that are supposed to be there for both PS and DS are there, but there is no PS option under the DS File/Send To

     

    When I check my DS plugins, I have the following error:

    DS PS bridge error

    The plugin you have installed is most likely the latest version made for 4.24, and will not work with 4.23.

    Thanks Leana.  It is the only version that I could find on the DAZ3d site.  It's crazy the DS would not have backward compatibility with something like this from only only point release earlier.

     

    Does anyone know how to get a version of the bridge that will work with 4.23?  iirc, 4.23 came out less than 18 months ago so there's got to be a lot of folks still using it.

    Older versions are not available for download, only the latest version for general release and beta (of each major version if it supports multiple ones). It's been like that since the first versions of DS were released.

    It depends on the plugin. Some are mostly version agnostic (as in, they will work in any version above the minimum one they were created for), some require a version matching your DS version. Photoshop bridge is part of the second case.

    Try opening a support ticket in Help center (link is in the footer for all site pages). They're the only ones who could legally provide you with a copy, assuming they still have one available.
