4.24 became sluggish overnight, gets stuck, takes ages to load.
Strangest issue: a scene with 3 G8 characters that took it's usual 2 minutes to load now took 8, task manager flagged "not responding", then it recoverered, got stuck again, a total of 15 minutes later Studio became usable. Until I loaded a new cloth prop on one of the figures, now the main window is greyed out again and the mouse pointer is circling.
This is after yesterday DIM complaing about several main core packages like Genesis 9 essentials not being installed. I suspected SSD corruption so before anything else I made a full backup of the Daz SSD (has its own) and ran hardware and filesystem check. So far everything checks out and DIM came back alright. Updates worked, no error messages.
What else happened?
-Windows 10 ESU updates
-I disabled the Smart Content Finder plugin which introduced heavy delays, but none as bad as bringing Studio to its knees. ( https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/171943/smart-content-finder )
Anyway, it's disabled while the author currently addresses these issues.
In log.txt I find quite a few of these, close to 500 in count:
2026-07-19 15:13:00.170 [WARNING] :: \src\sdksource\fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(646): Formula target property not found:
on a couple of characters I uninstalled to speed up scene loading, not sure if only uninstalled.
All advise what to investigate appreciated.

Update: myup, some scripts are missing, too, so I guess I'm looking at file system corruption. Great. Freshest backup is from October. I guess I could simply reinstall all DIM packages but I have quite a few Rendo and other 3rd party packages. On the occasion, is there a way to make DIM files from those?
Or, Content Wizard It can generate metadata while installing 3rd-party products and extract IM package with which you can install / uninstall via DIM ~
