Will there be a "Filament to Iray" converter?
RSSY's "3Delight to Iray" and "Iray to 3Delight" coverters were a Godsend.
With so many of my purchases being one or the other, being able to convert both ways was essential. Of course, with the demise of 3Delight, that will only be going in 1 direction now.
Naturally, back when they came up with the "3Delight & Iray to Filament", I snagged that utility right up!
But I'm wondering when they'll be making the "Filament to Iray" converter... I've noticed we're starting to get more and more products that are only in Filament

There are very few products made for Filament / Filatoon so far, and the majority of them either are add-ons for an Iray product or also have an Iray version available.
Beside the Filatoon effect uses a combination of shaders and a geoshell.
So we're talking about a product which has little potential use / market for now and which would not be easy to make. I personnaly doubt such a converter will be relased - unless things change drastically and Daz starts releasing Filatoon-only products en masse, at which point it might become commercially viable to produce one.
Yes, more converters would be a big bonus for DAZ and it's users.
I am still praying for an Iray to standard PBR converter. That would open up a new world for users of other 3D renderers that use PBR and not Iray, to use Iray Daz assets and props.
DAZ assets are reasonably priced and of high quality. I'm sure there are many users of other 3D engines that would love to tap into the fantastic world of DAZ assets.
And remember there are many hobbyists who can not afford the latest Nvidia card and are using ATI or cpu rendering. And please get over the fact many today are really effected by the high prices at the grocery store, home heating, insurance, electricity and gas/oil. There are hobbyist who are living pay cheque to pay cheque but find enjoyment and escapism in creating 3D art.
Does DAZ really need a 3D Delight license to sell a convertor? There are many file converters for Blender (Sketchup for example) and I'm betting there is no need for a Sketchup lcense for the creator to give it away free.
