If anyone is interested in a working bridge for studio 6 to unity 6 give me a shout, i was able to get a working bridge, it is not perfect but it does the job quite well considering all things!

Don't use the Daz Bridge—and not just because it always lags behind on updates. Use standard FBX files and rebuild your shaders in Unity (which is infinitely better and easier than the Daz Bridge). Hair? Unity has its own solution for that—infinitely superior to anything from Daz in terms of visuals and physics. Clothing? Marvelous Designer (it features automatic retopology)!

Unfortunately, Daz is falling behind, and that is a conscious decision by its owners. It is good software; it *had* the potential to compete in the market, but today, it no longer does.
