Looking for a Particular Kind of Asset

Hello. I do sci-fi art and while I am not looking for this exact thing from Warhammer 40,000 specificly, it's the most clear example I can find. TLDR; I'm looking for small implants that would be roughly flush with somone's skin, spread out across the body, and be used for physicaly attaching power armor or other cybernetic systems to them. A visual example of what I mean is on the leftmost side of this image:

Hoping to avoid modeling this myself as it wont look as good. Mostly because I don't know a good way to make a "cup" of flesh around where those would go to sell them being attached rather than, you know, props stuck on at places. So I guess a tutorial on how to quickly and eaily do that would work too.
