D force dilema

I have a Mac Mini M2 which remains by and large as it was when I purchased it. I cannot use Dforce because my machine does not support Nvidia graphics, well I can use Dforce but its like watching paint dry and the results are pretty much a lottery. I think that as a mac user i am caught between some kind of war involving Apple and Nvidia, which makes using Dforce virtually impossible for me. Is there anything apart from switchin g to a windows set up with Nvida graphics that could be emplyed to make this very technology available to the many Mac users...

Have you tried switching from GPU to CPU in the OpenCL dropdown on Simulation Settings/Advanced?

OpenCL doesn't really work well on Apple Silicon, as you said, virtually impossible if working for dForce ~~

If you want to make dForce work as expected, you’ll need an Intel-based Mac with a GPU driver that supports OpenCL 1.2+ required by DS 4.x / 6.x.
