Hello I have two models of the same character in daz and I want to understamd what i need to do and how to get the quality of the skin of the model on the right to match the level of quality of the skin on the left. I saw the pbr skin manager addon but im not sure I udnerstand what I would need to tweak to use it properly.

The one to the left looks like having more direct light.
And potentially also higher subsurface scattering and lower roughness.
Light has a very important role when it comes to how an character look (and other objects too).
Note that an Iray preview is not the same as an actual render, as some things is not included in the preview.
And if in doubt provide more information about character (and which shader) and lightning.
Also note, people from UK can't see Imgur images, so it is better to attach to your post.
If all things are equal, as in lighting and render settings, then you may be in for a lot of work.
What i'd recomnend is to look at the materials used on the character on the left, and try those same settings on the right character.
The main problem is going to be if the character on the right doesn't have maps for certain channels, such as subsurface scattering, translucency or overlay weight.
In that case you'll either need to use the ones from a different character, which might not produce good results, or make your own.
Also, in addition to lighting, render setting will play a factor in your resutls.
the tonemapper is overbrightening the image. thats why we need good color transformation I would render it as EXR and then use an OCIO workflow with AGX or ACES2.0
